Pluto’s Planners is operated by FOB Ventures LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you visit plutosplanners.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language instead of legal boilerplate.
The short version
We run a small site that sells Disney vacation planning spreadsheets. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not show ads here. The only thing we collect automatically is ordinary website analytics, and the only thing you give us directly is whatever you type into our contact form.
What you give us
The form on our Contact Us page asks for your name, your email address, and your message. When you submit it, that information is sent to us as an email. It is not stored in a database on this website. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not run one.
The email we receive also notes which page you were on when you sent the form.
What we collect automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. We use two tools.
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the browser and device you use, and how you arrived here. It gives your browser a random identifier so that repeat visits count as one visitor. We do not use it to work out who you are, and it is not connected to any advertising product. Google handles this data on its own terms, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com. It counts page views and gives us a simple traffic summary. Their privacy policy is at automattic.com/privacy.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs as a normal part of running the site.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store. This site sets two, and both belong to Google Analytics:
_ga, which lasts about two years and tells one browser apart from another._ga_9F6PZYJF08, which lasts about two years and keeps track of a visit in progress.
That is the whole list. We do not set advertising cookies.
If you visited this site before September 2026, your browser may still be holding a Google advertising cookie called _gcl_au, left behind by an advertising tag that we have since removed. It expires on its own within 90 days, and you can delete it now through your browser settings.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This site works normally without them.
Advertising
We do not show ads on this site and we do not use it to build advertising audiences. From July 2023 to September 2026 the site carried a Google Ads remarketing tag. We removed it in September 2026 and it no longer loads.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy or book something, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It does not change what we recommend or what we say about it. The pages that carry affiliate links say so, and the links themselves are marked as sponsored in the page code.
One of our affiliate partners, David’s Vacation Club Rentals, serves a banner image on our Resources page from their own servers rather than ours. That means their servers can see that your browser loaded that page, including your IP address, your browser type, and the page you came from, whether or not you click the banner. Our other affiliate links are ordinary links, and the partner learns nothing about you unless you click one.
Comments and accounts
Comments are turned off across this site, and there is no way to register an account here. We collect nothing through either.
How long we keep things
Contact form emails stay in our email account until we clear them out. In Google Analytics, event level data is kept for 2 months and user level data is kept for 14 months, after which Google deletes it.
Who we share it with
Nobody, apart from the service providers named above who handle data on our behalf as part of running this site. We do not sell your information.
Your choices
You can contact us at any time to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because we keep no customer database on this site, the answer is usually that we hold nothing beyond an email you sent us.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning family trips. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
